If you are looking to escape to a new area or do something different with your day, visiting a National Trust is a great way to explore on your mobility scooter. Whether you are going on your own, with family and friends or taking your dog for a stroll, there is always something going on to preoccupy you.

At National Trust grounds all over the country, they organise weekly events and classes to encourage socialising and for individuals to learn new skills. With the weather hopefully warming up and all the wild flowers starting to bloom, spending the day or even a morning at a National Trust will boost your mood and allow you immerse yourself with nature after the cold and wet months.

Here are some examples of what’s on offer at National Trusts over the next few weeks

  • Spring Trails
  • Creative Mindfulness Drawing From Nature
  • Garden History Guided Tour
  • Meet The Beekeepers
  • British Wildlife Photography Awards Exhibition

By having your mobility scooter, it will allow you to join in and take part in these activities and a great way to meet new people and do something different with your day. If you are looking after your grandchildren in the half term school holidays and they need to run off some steam, a National Trust is a great, safe space for everyone to enjoy.
