I have only just received the Ren today but took her straight out (she’s now called Daisy). I have fought against a mobility scooter for a long time as I’m only 50 but have had to admit I have lost my freedom due to my disability. But literally straight out of the box and she was ready to go and I have fallen in love. Shes very easy to unfold and fold and such a huge pleasure to ride. I have my freedom back and my sense of adventure. She folds up small and now lives happily in my small hallway and fits easily into my car and I’m able to lift her in myself, I will say she is heavy but still manageable if you have good upper body strength. I’m looking forward to taking her to London on the train to visit my daughter and go Christmas shopping with her. Betty & Bertie answered my questions and gave excellent customer service. I foresee Daisy and I having many adventures together. And as you will see from my pictures that will a little imagination you can make the Ren fit you and your life. For the first time in a very long time I’m planning tomorrow not what I will fill my hours with at home but where can I go tomorrow and what can I get up to.
I purchased a Zinnie mobility scooter and taking it on holiday it was a god sent at the Airports and we were able to see and visit lots of great places which I certainly would not have done anything without the Zinnie.I had a slight problem and found a mobility shop they just tested the Scooter I was not getting the mileage they that found one of the batterys was faulty so I really had to keeps it charged.
I phoned Betty&Bertie Customer service they were very helpful they asked me to send back and they would a send me replacement and when I went to the post office they said Lithium batteries could not be sent I don't know why, I phoned the customer service and explained the situation to Which she said she would send me a replacement and I disposed of faulty battery at the council tip. The service that I received was so good if any of my friends needs a mobility scooters I would certainly recommend them , in Crete when I got the the battery tested they were impressed with the Zinnie and its working fine and it's certainly a blessing for for people with problems walking. I can't thank Betty& Bertie c/s

There is something fundamentally very wrong with the Lupin Scooter as twice now it’s toppled backwards and on the last occasion my husband was less than an inch from hitting the back of his head on a concrete pavement. On neither occasion was he doing anything wrong and on the latest event he was going straight on on a raised curb when the scooter rolled backwards and he landed on his back on a road.
There needs to be a safety review before someone gets killed
