What Is It?

DPD Local is a third party courier company that offers a next working day delivery service to the UK Mainland. The Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland are a 2 working day service due to the extended logistics of parcels shipping to these locations.

All parcels sent on this service will have full tracking available from us to you and also a one hour delivery slot on your day of delivery by email or text between 08:00am and 10:00am on the day of delivery

What Do They Do?

DPD Local will deliver the scooter to your front door and take confirmation of delivery and due to covid instead of a signature they will take a photo of the parcel at your door for their records.

It is important that you are home when the delivery is taking place as they will not leave your parcel at your door without someone accepting the delivery. The DPD Local drivers are not responsible for taking the parcel inside of your home or unpackaging the mobility scooter from its packaging.

It is also important that there is a clear route to your door as obstructions may cause the drivers to leave the parcel further away from your doorway if they cannot get through.

We offer a Next Working Day service for orders placed before 14:30pm

  • If you are unable to receive a delivery and the goods are returned to us, a second postage equal to the original will be required to re-dispatch the goods, or if a refund is requested, a £15 deduction will be applied. to cover the cost of the failed delivery

  • Please ensure that you enter a complete and accurate delivery address as we cannot be held responsible for items which go missing or are delayed due to inaccurate or incomplete delivery address information.

  • Guarantee: If your order does not arrive within the specified time frame for your delivery address, we will refund the full cost of your postage and packing to you.

  • Don't throw away the box! You'll need this for any warranty procedures. If you don't keep the box, we will charge £50 to send another one.

  • If your order is less then £50 then we charge a shipping cost of £6.99 for DPD Next Working Day Delivery

  • Any duties/custom tax is to be paid by the customer upon arrival in destination country.
