Zinnia CarbonLite Quick Start Guide

Frequently Asked Questions

The Zinnia CarbonLite is equipped with solid PU (polyurethane) tyres. These tyres are durable, puncture-proof, and designed to provide a smooth and stable ride without the maintenance requirements of traditional air-filled tyres.

Yes, you can charge the batteries while they are inside the scooter. The charger comes with an adaptor lead that allows you to charge the batteries either together when they are in the scooter or individually if you remove them. This provides flexibility in how you choose to charge your scooter's batteries.

Unfolding the Carbon Lite Mobility Scooter:

To unfold the Carbon Lite Mobility Scooter, start by pressing forward on the red lever located near the base of the steering column. While holding the red lever forward, push the steering column outward to release it from its locked folded position. Once the steering column is unlocked, extend the handlebars outward to stabilise the scooter and prepare it for use. Finally, lift the seat upwards in a pivot motion until it clicks into place, ensuring it is securely positioned for use.

Folding the Carbon Lite Mobility Scooter:

To fold the Carbon Lite Mobility Scooter, begin by pushing on the red lever to unlock the mechanisms holding the scooter in its unfolded state. Next, pivot the seat by pulling the bottom of the seat up and outward, folding it back towards the scooter. After the seat is folded, pull the steering column inward towards the scooter until it clicks together, securing the scooter in its folded position.

Yes, the Zinnia CarbonLite can be pulled along slightly. The best way to do this is by using the front tiller for guidance. However, be careful not to lift the scooter using the tiller, as this can cause damage. Instead, gently pull the scooter along to move it short distances.

Yes, you can still operate the scooter even if you have limited mobility in your right hand. The Zinnia CarbonLite features a wig-wag handle, which allows you to control the scooter using either hand. By pushing the handle away from you or pulling it towards you, you can drive forward or reverse, making it accessible for users with varying levels of hand mobility.
