Our 12-Month Guarantee

All new Betty & Bertie scooters come with a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering key components against material defects.

If something goes wrong due to a manufacturing defect within this period, we’ll work with you to resolve it.

What’s Covered

Your warranty covers defects caused by:

  • Faulty materials
  • Defects In certain materials and workmanship of all Betty & Bertie products
  • Mechanical parts
  • Battery

What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage or misuse
  • Improper storage or abnormal use
  • Negligence by you or a third party
  • Failure to follow user instructions or guidelines
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Products altered to your own specifications
  • Second-hand products or batteries

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Before any warranty claim can be accepted, you must first contact our Customer Care Department at hello@bettyandbertie.com or call us on 0800 222 9255

The warranty process:

  1. Contact Customer Care to discuss the issue
  2. Provide proof of purchase or Order Number
  3. Provide photographs, video or other diagnostic evidence if requested
  4. Await confirmation of whether the issue may be covered and agreement of next steps

No inspections, repairs or returns should be arranged without prior authorisation.

Any investigation, repair or modification carried out without prior written authorisation from Betty and Bertie will void this warranty in relation to the affected components.

Inspection and Assessment

Betty and Bertie reserves the right to inspect the scooter or any component as part of the warranty assessment process. A warranty claim cannot be accepted until an inspection or sufficient diagnostic evidence has been provided.

  • The warranty is valid for 12 months from delivery

  • You must use and maintain your scooter in line with the product guidelines

  • Warranty cover may be void if the terms above are not followed
  • This warranty is in addition to your legal rights if a product is faulty or not as described.
  • You can get independent advice from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

If you purchase as a business:

  • You are responsible for servicing and supporting your end customers
  • We will provide replacement parts under warranty from the date we supplied the product to you
