SELF-CERTIFICATION
To purchase a mobility scooter free of VAT you need to declare that you are 'chronically sick or disabled' and that the goods or services are for your own personal or domestic use. This is a self-certification system – we do not require proof of your impairment.
A person is 'chronically sick or disabled' if he or she is a person with either:
- a physical or mental impairment which has a long term and substantial adverse effect upon his or her ability to carry out everyday activities or
- a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness.
It does not include an elderly person who is not disabled or chronically sick or any person who is only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb.

This Collapsible Walking Stick is an easy folding unisex walking stick.
It's made out of aluminium making it incredibly lightweight and offers 5 adjustable height settings ensuring you can set the height that is most comfortable for you.
This collapsible walking stick has a thick rubber end to ensure the best grip for when in use and a safety strap at the top to maximise the comfort this offers.
The way this works is with a thick piece of string running down the middle of the pipe which is stretchy enough for the stick to be folded down and then when you want to use it, the string will act like a pully system and snap the stick into place. It's really simple!
The collapsible mechanism makes this walking stick perfect for taking with you on your mobility scooter as it can be stored away in your bag or on your lap while you ride and then transformed to a stick for use.
